3. Who can purchase from us

You may purchase Products from WorkVera Limited as an individual (for personal or professional use) or as a business, sole trader or organisation. By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have full authority to enter into a binding agreement — on your own behalf or on behalf of the organisation you represent

  • You are not purchasing on behalf of any entity subject to UK sanctions restrictions

Consumer vs. business purchasers: Statutory rights under UK consumer law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) apply where you purchase as an individual consumer not acting in the course of a trade or business. If you purchase as a business, some of these statutory protections may not apply, and your rights will be primarily governed by these Terms of Sale.

6.1 Declined or reversed payments

If your payment is declined, reversed or disputed by your bank or payment provider, WorkVera is not obliged to deliver or continue providing the relevant Product. We may suspend access to any service or product involved until payment is successfully completed, and will contact you to seek resolution.

WorkVera cooperates fully with any Wise compliance or dispute review process. If you have a query about a Wise payment, please contact us at info@workvera.uk before raising a formal dispute through Wise, as we can typically resolve matters more quickly through direct contact.

8. Device & Printer Advisory — service terms

This section applies specifically to purchases of our Device & Printer Advisory service.

8.1 What is included

Device & Printer Advisory provides practical, personalised guidance on selecting, setting up, configuring and troubleshooting devices, laptops, printers, scanners and peripherals for home or small office environments. Services are delivered remotely as an advisory session (video call, telephone or written exchange) or as a structured written report, as agreed at the time of purchase.

8.2 Scope and limitations

Our advisory guidance is based on the information you provide about your specific device, operating environment and requirements. Outcomes from applying our guidance can depend on individual device configurations, software versions and user actions — factors which are outside WorkVera's control. Where our guidance was accurate based on the information provided, WorkVera cannot accept liability for outcomes arising from differences in individual device environments or user actions taken.

8.3 Your responsibilities

To enable effective delivery of this service, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about your device(s), current setup and the issue or objective you wish to address, and to respond promptly to reasonable requests for clarification.

9. Digital Presence & Visibility — service terms

This section applies specifically to purchases of our Digital Presence & Visibility service.

9.1 What is included

Digital Presence & Visibility provides support with establishing and improving how your business appears online. This includes Google Business Profile setup, optimisation and guidance; local search engine optimisation (SEO) advice; and directory listing management and guidance. Services are delivered as remote advisory sessions, done-with-you support, or written guidance, as agreed at purchase.

9.2 No guarantee of results

Results from digital presence work — including search ranking improvements, increased visibility or enquiry volumes — are inherently variable and depend on many factors outside WorkVera's control, including Google's algorithms, the competitive landscape in your area, and your own follow-through on recommended actions. Dissatisfaction with results, as distinct from dissatisfaction with the quality or accuracy of work delivered, is not in itself grounds for a refund.

9.3 Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate business information, login access where required for setup tasks, and timely responses to requests for content or approvals needed to complete agreed tasks.

10. Website Advisory & Management — service terms

This section applies specifically to purchases of our Website Advisory & Management service.

10.1 What is included

Website Advisory & Management provides practical guidance and hands-on assistance with website setup, content, page structure, performance improvements, and ongoing management tasks. Services are delivered as remote advisory sessions, structured written guidance, or as an ongoing managed service, as agreed at the time of purchase.

10.2 Ongoing and multi-session packages

For ongoing or subscription-based website management packages, WorkVera will deliver services in accordance with the agreed schedule. Access to ongoing services commences upon payment confirmation and remains active for the purchased duration. Cancellation of ongoing packages is subject to the terms set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10.3 Your responsibilities

You agree to provide reasonable access to your website platform and any tools required, accurate information about your requirements, and timely responses to requests for content or approvals. Delays caused by late responses or unavailability are not attributable to WorkVera, and delivery timelines will be adjusted accordingly.

11. Digital Guides & Reference Kits — product terms

This section applies specifically to purchases of our Digital Guides & Reference Kits.

11.1 What is included

Digital Guides & Reference Kits are downloadable written resources — including step-by-step guides, checklists, reference materials and practical toolkits — covering digital topics relevant to small businesses and individuals. They are delivered by email as attachments or download links within 24 hours of confirmed payment.

11.2 Nature of digital products

Digital guides and reference kits are delivered electronically and can be retained once accessed. Please review the product description carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions about the content of a specific product before purchasing, contact us at info@workvera.uk before completing your order.

11.3 Accuracy and content

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that our digital products are accurate and current at the time of publication. Our guides provide general practical guidance on digital topics and are not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, technical or otherwise) tailored to your specific circumstances.

Change of mind: Because digital products can be copied and retained once accessed, we do not offer refunds for change of mind after a download link has been provided and accessed. Refunds are available where the product is materially not as described, there is a technical failure preventing access, or the product is not of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12. Licence & permitted use

When you purchase a Product from WorkVera Limited, you are purchasing a licence to use that Product — not ownership of the underlying intellectual property, which remains with WorkVera Limited at all times.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

  • Use the Product for your own personal use or internal business use
  • Adapt and modify digital guides or checklists for your own internal use
  • Share materials within your own immediate team where reasonably necessary for internal purposes

You must not, without WorkVera's prior written consent:

  • Resell, redistribute, publicly share or sublicense any Product, in whole or in part, whether in original or modified form
  • Use our Products as the basis for a competing service or product offered to third parties
  • Claim or imply that you created WorkVera's frameworks, guidance, templates or materials
  • Remove, obscure or alter any copyright notices, branding or attribution within our Products

If you are a consultant or professional wishing to use WorkVera materials with multiple clients, please contact us to discuss appropriate licensing arrangements.

13. No guarantees & your responsibilities

WorkVera Limited provides practical digital guidance and advisory services. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from use of our Products, including improvements in search rankings or online visibility, website performance metrics, resolution of specific device faults, revenue, business results or any other measurable performance outcome.

Outcomes depend on many factors outside WorkVera's control, including your individual circumstances, the accuracy of information you provide to us, your implementation of our guidance, and external platform or technology changes. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on our Products and for the outcomes in your business.

Professional advice: WorkVera's Products are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, technical or other specialist advice tailored to your specific circumstances. If you require such advice, please consult a suitably qualified professional.

14. Refunds & cancellations

Our full Refund & Cancellation Policy is available at workvera.uk/refund-policy. This section provides a summary.

14.1 Advisory services — before commencement

If you cancel an advisory service before any work or preparation has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund. Please notify us as soon as possible by email.

14.2 Advisory services — after commencement

Once a service or session has commenced, a full refund is not automatically available. We will consider a partial refund based on the proportion of the service not yet delivered. Where a session has been fully delivered and fulfilled, no refund is payable for that session unless there was a failure on WorkVera's part.

14.3 Digital guides & reference kits

We do not offer refunds for change of mind once a download link has been provided and accessed. Refunds are available where: the product is materially not as described; there is a technical failure on our side preventing access that we cannot resolve; or the product is not of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

14.4 Statutory cooling-off rights (UK consumers)

UK consumers have a statutory right to cancel most distance contracts within 14 calendar days of the contract being formed, without giving a reason. For digital content delivered immediately with your express consent, this right may be lost once delivery commences, where you have acknowledged this at checkout. For services you have asked to begin within the 14-day period, a pro-rated charge may apply for work already completed.

14.5 How to request a refund

Email: info@workvera.uk

Please include: your full name, order email address, order reference (if available), the Product name, and a clear description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 5 working days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 working days of written confirmation.

15. Chargebacks & payment disputes

If you have a concern about a payment or a Product, please contact us at info@workvera.uk before initiating a chargeback or formal dispute through your bank or payment provider. In most cases we can resolve matters more quickly and simply through direct contact.

If a chargeback or dispute is opened, WorkVera will cooperate fully with the payment processor's dispute process, may submit relevant evidence including order and delivery records, and reserves the right to suspend access to any Product involved in the active dispute pending resolution. Where a chargeback is found unjustified, WorkVera reserves the right to recover any resulting chargeback processing fees.

Full details are set out in our Dispute & Complaints Policy.

16. Data protection & privacy

We collect and process personal data in connection with your order in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By placing an order, you acknowledge that we may process your personal data for purposes including processing payment, delivering Products, providing customer support, and meeting legal and regulatory obligations. We may share limited information with regulated service providers (such as payment processors, email platforms and cloud storage providers) for these purposes.

17. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any breach of statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorkVera Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from or in connection with your use of our Products. Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from a particular order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Business purchasers: If you are purchasing in the course of a business, you agree that all implied warranties and conditions are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and that our liability is limited as described above.

18. Force majeure

WorkVera Limited is not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power or internet failures, strikes, acts of government, regulatory changes, or widespread technical failures affecting major platforms or payment systems. If such an event affects our ability to deliver a Product, we will aim to minimise the impact and offer a reschedule, credit or refund as appropriate.

19. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and WorkVera Limited agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute, except that WorkVera may bring proceedings in any other jurisdiction where reasonably necessary to protect its rights. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of those jurisdictions.

20. Changes to these Terms of Sale

We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time to reflect changes in our Products, pricing, payment methods, or applicable laws and regulations. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide notice on our website. The version of these Terms of Sale in force at the time you placed your order will generally be the version that applies to that order, unless a change is required by law or is otherwise for your benefit.
